Extending your certificate means you already have a certificate with a certain expiration date. EASA certificates are only valid for five years. So you need to renew the certificate so you can fly with a drone for another five years.
You only have to renew the most recent/highest certificate you've obtained.
This certificate must have been issued by the Netherlands.
What do you need to do?
- I only want to renew my A1-A3 certificate
Take our refresher course and pass the A1-A3 exam again. After that you can apply for a new A1-A3 certificate. This certificate will also get a new expiration date.
- I want to renew my A2 certificate
Take our refresher course and pass the A2 exam again. After that you can apply for a new A2 certificate. This certificate will also get a new expiration date.
